On April 18, 2014 the DEC released the updated set of DEC Recommended Practices. A committee of DEC members works on keeping the information relevant and current. The newest version of the Recommended Practices is comprised of 66 practices organized in eight topic areas. These practices are based on the most current research and evidence-based practices in the field and are a "must have" for those wanting to do the best work in the field of early childhood!
DIRECTIONS: Please use the link below to download and print your copy of the updated Recommended Practices. The practices are in PDF format and should be printed in actual size. Once you have printed your copy of the Practices, cut each page as indicated and staple the pages together. Following these directions, you will have your own flipbook outlining all the topic areas and associated practices.
